Requests are sent to [email protected] The project lasts 30 months (2017-2020) and aims to encourage regional development through the program of cultural routes of the Council of Europe in four macro-regions of the European Union, in accordance with the Faro Convention. Within this program, seven calls for proposals were published for seven projects specifically prepared for all four macro-regional strategies. The project proposals aim to create added value for both the Council of Europe’s cultural route program and macro-regional strategies. Croatia participates in two macro-regional strategies: the Danube and the Adriatic-Ionian, within which the proposal to create a new cultural route called “Roman Heritage Route” was accepted. Source / photo: Ministry of Tourism; Routes4U The application deadline is September 9, 2019 (by 18 pm), and the period of implementation of approved project proposals is from October 15, 2019 to March 1, 2020. “Routes4U” is a joint program of the Council of Europe and the European Union that seeks to link tourism and culture in four EU macro-regional strategies (Baltic / EUSBSR; Danube / EUSDR; Adriatic-Ionian / EUSAIR; Alpine / EUSALP) with the activities of certified cultural routes in these areas.
