Try these and you’re guaranteed to look stunning. You can obtain a natural or dramatic look based on how your eye makeup is applied. Proper eye makeup application is a useful skill that can help you to always look your best and boost your confidence. To begin, wash your face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser. Be sure to pay close attention to any leftover mascara or eyeliner. If you suffer from dry skin, rub a little moisturizer underneath your eyes and between the outer corners of your eyes and temples. Avoid putting moisturizer on your eyelids as this makes them greasy, causing the makeup to run off. I recommend using primer because it gives the makeup something to cling to and it smoothens your skin; however, its use is optional. If you’re going to use the primer, ensure that you apply it all over the eyelid up to the edge of the brow.If you have dark circles under and in the corners of your eyes, ensure that you use a concealer. Use either your finger or a concealer brush to blend the concealer. Use a loose powder that blends your skin tone over the area where you applied the concealer in order to set it. Lightly apply a little of the powder on your eyelids also. Now, we’re going to apply the eye shadow. You can use a blend of colors or just one. The choice is yours! Let’s go with three colors in this tutorial. Apply a medium color on your eyelid (the lower crease just above your eyelashes), using a light brown shade or even a medium pink. Next apply a light color to the brow bone; in order to highlight this area and make more light bounce off, use either a light gold shade or any light shade that matches your eyelid complexion. On the crease of the eyelid, apply a dark color. Brush using small, light strokes, applying from the outer corner to the inner corner of your eye following your natural arch. Remember that the dark shade should match the first two shades you’ve applied. In order to blend the colors, use either a fluffy tapered blending brush or your fingers and brush lightly over the edges where the colors meet to achieve a perfectly blended look.Use either a pencil liner or a liquid liner to line your eyes by moving across the upper lash in a thin consistent line. For a sultrier look, line the lower lashes as well. Finally, before applying mascara, curl your lashes using an eyelash curler. If you do not have a curler just apply your mascara, starting at the base of your upper lashes and sweep slowly upward. If you want to apply multiple coats, ensure that you do so before the mascara dries. Now you look like a million bucks!!!
