Lagan Harps club notes: Disastrous start proves fatal for seniors

first_imgOur men’s team had a disastrous first half in which they went 6-0 down away to Castlefin Celtic. Mark Hunter pulled two goals back in the second half to make it 6-2.This Sunday they face another tough match when they are at home to local rivals and current league champions Drumoghill – kick-off is 2pm.Our under-16’s had a busy week. On Tuesday night they beat Lifford Celtic 3-1 to qualify for the champions league., Scorers were Jack O’Donnell (2) and Darren Ferry. On Saturday they won 2-1 away to Dunfanaghy with Jack O’Donnell and Oran Downey scoring. They now face Swilly Rovers in the semi final. In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 2,3,16 and 21.
